　　Alevel物理 AS的主要内容

　　物理AS的Paper1的考试题型为多项选择，共计40题，考试时长为一个小时。考试小TIPS：

　　1、Paper1平均每题只有一分半的答题时间，没时间复查，所以在读题时要圈出题目给出的已知量，并要注意给出单位的数量级，避免在计算上出现低级错误。在做题时也要多动笔，对于看似简单的题目不要过于自负依赖心算，容易出错。

　　2、对于考查概念的选择题，不要觉得某个选项看似正确就急于确定，一定要认真读完每个选项再做选择。这样可能会发现某些选项更加贴切，从而做出及时的修正。

　　3、很重要的一点，考前一定要掌握各个章节的基本内容。对于自己不熟悉的知识点不要抱有侥幸心理，寄希望考试中不会出现相关的题目。如果考试中真遇到难题不要慌乱，相信自己的第一判断，切记不要在某一道题上浪费过多时间，也会影响考试心态。

Alevel物理 AS

　　A-level Physics Unit 2部分号称魔鬼难度!它是Edexcel A-level Physics考试的第二个单元，它的卷面分(Raw Mark)满分为80，换算成标准分后满分为120。试卷含有10道选择题，每道题1分，另有70分的计算或简答综合题目。

　　Unit 2的考试难度很大，这张卷子历年的grade boundary在所有单元中是较低的，说明考生们普遍难以拿分。不仅仅因为其中波动学和近代物理的内容本身抽象难懂，更因为卷子中常常含有大量分析性的简答题，分值在3-6分左右，要求学生在理解的基础上使用正确的模式表达，同时还要保证语法正确和逻辑连贯。Unit 2包含三个知识模块：波动学、直流电路，以及近代物理。

　　有关AS部分的实验操作考试，这一类型的考试要求学生在两个小时内完成两道操作题，每道题各为20分，一般来说，A level所考察的物理实验是无法从课本中找到的，相反，要求每个学生独立地通过提供的材料去研究简单的事例，这些事例虽然简单，但很多都和生活密切相关，可以看成生活中某些应用的雏形和思维萌芽。

　　2.Strobe photography or video camera toanalyses motion. Investigate, usingprimary data, recognize and make use of the independence of vertical andhorizontal motion of a projectile moving freely under gravity.

　　3. Find the centre of gravity of an irregularrod Draw and interpretfree-body force diagrams to represent forces on a particle or on an extendedbut rigid body, using the concept of centre of gravity of an extended body .

　　【Waves】

　　1. Wave machine or computer simulation of waveproperties Understand and usethe terms amplitude, frequency, period, speed and wavelength.

　　2. Demonstration using a loudspeaker Demonstration usingwaves on a long spring A sound wave is alongitudinal wave which can be described in terms of the displacement ofmolecules.

　　3. Demonstration with ripple tank Explain and use theconcepts of wavefront, coherence, path difference, superposition and phase. Investigate andrecall that waves can be diffracted and that substantial diffraction occurswhen the size of the gap or obstacle is similar to the wavelength of the wave. Explain qualitatively how the movement of a source of sound or light relative to an observer/detectorgives rise to a shift in frequency (Doppler effect) and explore applicationsthat use this effect.

　　【DC Electricity】

　　1. Measure current and voltage in series andparallel circuits Use ohmmeter tomeasure total resistance of series/parallel circuits Recognise,investigate and use the relationships between current, voltage and resistance,for series and parallel circuits, and know that these relationships are aconsequence of the conservation of charge and energy.

　　2. Measure the efficiency of an electric motor Investigate and usethe expressions P = VI, W = VIt. Recognise and use related expressions eg P =I2R and P = V2/R.

　　3. Investigate I-V graphs for filament lamp, diodeand thermistor Interpretcurrent-potential difference graphs, including non-ohmic materials.
